Higher Learning Transportation Services is a locally owned child transportation company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, founded in 2017 by Lisa Sifford, a Charlotte parent. HLTS transports children and teens ages 7 to 18 to school, activities, tutoring, camp, and jobs throughout Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The company was started to solve a problem its founder had herself: balancing a work schedule against children who needed to be in two places at once.
