Part-Time Driver - Split Schedule

Job Description:

Higher Learning Transportation Service (HLTS) is seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Part-Time Drivers. At HLTS, we provide safe, reliable, and convenient transportation exclusively for kids and teens. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the community's children have access to educational and extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

Safely transport children and teens to and from designated locations such as schools, tutoring sessions, extracurricular activities, and other authorized destinations.
Follow assigned routes and schedules for morning pickups and evening drop-offs.
Ensure that all passengers are wearing seat belts and adhere to safety protocols.
Maintain communication with parents or guardians and report any concerns or incidents.
Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Maintain compliance with all North Carolina state laws and company policies.

Schedule

Morning Pickup: Transport children to their schools or designated morning destinations.
Evening Drop Off: Pick up children from school and transport them to their homes, after-school programs, or extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
CPR certified and trained in First Aid techniques.
Pass a background check and meet all requirements mandated by North Carolina state laws for drivers.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and responsibly manage time.
